Sattva Strong

Be Sattva Strong: Be in Harmony. Be in Balance. Be in Peace. Be in Ease. Be in Grace. Be in Truth. Be in Light. Be YOU.

Individuals in a Sattvic state are intelligent and have good memories. They take good care of themselves and are health-conscious. They are content, calm, well-mannered, gentle, considerate, generous, compassionate, polite, and amenable.

Everyone is born Sattva Strong, but maintaining that balance requires a conscious effort as the responsibilities of everyday life take hold. Those demands can cause the imbalance as the tug and pull of rajas and tamas take over. Rajas is useful when it initiates movement, activity, stimulation, and enthusiasm. But too much rajas leads to chaos, restlessness, aggression, competitiveness, and overstimulation. Tamas is the flip of that coin. It is useful when it slows the body down for rest or relaxation, as it initiates heaviness and dullness. But too much tamas leads to a lack of motivation, sluggishness, stubbornness, and lethargy.
